Product Description:

How to Analyze Soil Fertility
1. Remove the top soil layer about 5cm; then crush the soil down to 13cm deep by pressing it downwards. Clear any organic impurities in the soil that may affect the test results, such as leaves, roots, etc. 2. Soak the soil with water until it becomes a muddy consistency. (Use rainwater or distilled water if possible.) 3. Wipe the probe with a clean cloth or paper towel. 4. Set the function key to the leftmost position. 5. Insert the probe into the soil until the soil is no more than 2.5cm away from the body of the device. Wait up to 10 seconds for the needle to stabilize before reading the data. 6. Record the data. Remove the probe from the soil and thoroughly clean the probe.

 

How to Analyze Soil pH Levels
1. Remove the top 5cm of soil from the test area and crush the soil down to 13cm deep. Remove any organic debris that may affect the test results, such as leaves and root systems. 2. Soak the soil with water until it becomes a muddy consistency. (Use rainwater or distilled water if possible) 3. Position the function key to the far right setting. 4. Wet the probe. Wipe the rightmost of the three probes with a clean cotton swab. 5. Insert the probe fully into the soil being tested. 6. Wait 1 minute to read the data. 7. After the test is complete, wipe the probe clean and allow it to air dry.
